DIY how to macrame: cord length for knots, cord measurements, best tips and hints, how much cord

In this short video, we learn how to measure the cord that three macrame knots take up.
For my  woven cord 4mm: (triple twisted ropes need more)
-square knot 5cm
-double half hitch 6.5cm
-larks head knot 10.5 cm
Do this with your cord before you begin the next project.
Count the number of knots needed and try to estimate the cord length.
