Hey! Welcome to HOWZA channel! In today's lesson, we will teach you how to stop sharing a folder on Windows 11. While file or folder sharing is a very convenient and quick way to share your files within your home network, it could be really risky if open to the public. Just for your information, when you allow file sharing to any network, a Users folder is created on your PC through which others can access your My Documents folder and the desktop and this makes your PC vulnerable to the attacks. Thus it is recommended to restrict folder sharing in Windows 11. Right-click on the folder that you need. Choose Show more options from the list. Select Properties. A new window will open. Go to Sharing tab. Click on Advanced Sharing. Uncheck share this folder option. Click on Apply. Click on Yes in the pop-up window. Click Ok.
