Johns Hopkins University 2023-2024 Supplement - What You Need to Know

Johns Hopkins University (JHU) has released its 2023-2024 supplement for first-year applicants hoping to join the college's Class of 2028. In this video I discuss how you can make the most of two specific opportunities to further differentiate yourself and your application for the JHU admissions committee: the resume and the essay.

JHU's 2023-2024 Supplemental Essay Prompt (discussed in this video)
Tell us about an aspect of your identity (eg. race, gender, sexuality, religion, community, etc…) or a life experience that has shaped you as an individual and how that influenced what you’d like to pursue in college at Hopkins.  (This can be a future goal or experience that is either academic, extracurricular or social).  300 word limit (though currently the Common App provides 350 words for students to respond to this prompt).
