The Dewalt FlexVolt 1-7/8” SDS Max Hammer Drill looks just like its older corded brother, it even has the same internal mechanism, but it’s NOT corded.

It features such two safety features that I know I appreciate. They are:
E-Clutch system this feature senses the motion of the tool and shuts it down if necessary . the red indicator LED illuminates when the E-clutch system is engaged.
SHOCKS Active Vibration Control technology
Floating rear anti-vibration handle set for low vibration.
The E-Clutch System is an anti-rotational technology designed to protect the user in bind-up or stall situations.
This feature senses a stall during use and adjusts torque accordingly. The Dewalt FlexVolt 1-7/8” SDS Max Hammer Drill
achieves 13.3 Joules [According to EPTA-Procedure 05/2009]and 350 RPM.
We used the DCH733 to install a car jack in a client’s garage. We found it to be a fast drilling tool in older, hard concrete.
The SHOCKS technology is basically Active Vibration Control reduces vibration felt by the user at the handles. This ends up in reduced vibration felt by the user for less fatigue.
