Abstract
Accurate positioning of brackets is just as important as it is for the stops when treating anterior crowding. When stops are clamped to NiTi wires, this section of wire will not be able to perform its flexibility fully. Therefore, stops should be placed in a relatively less crowded area, in this case, on the canines and leave the wire in the crowded anterior zone unrestricted for further crowding relief.

治療前牙凌亂的案例時，除了要注意矯正器需黏放在正確位置之外，放置stop的位置也十分關鍵。當NiTi線夾上stop後，那一段線的彈性將無法發揮。因此，需將stop夾在相對不擁擠的地方，讓這條線充分發揮彈性，排齊牙齒。以這個case而言，是犬齒。若將stop夾在擁擠的前牙區中，這條無法充分發揮彈性的線則無助於紓緩擁擠的情形。
