An Apple expert explains why your iPhone says “Scam Likely” and demonstrates how to block these calls for good.

Your iPhone says “Scam Likely” because your wireless carrier introduced a feature called Scam ID or Scam Lock that can flag numbers from known or potential scammers.

This software was created by PrivacyStar and is being used by T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and, most recently, MetroPCS.

You can block calls from “Scam Likely” if T-Mobile is your wireless carrier. This may also work for MetroPCS because this carrier is part of T-Mobile.

To block calls from “Scam Likely”, dial #662#. You can check to see if scam block is on by dialing #787# and turn off scam block by dialing #632#.
