Ideology is a set of ideas that seeks to explain some or all aspects of reality, lays down values and preferences in respect of both ends and means, and includes a program of action for the attainment of the defined ends.
The main characteristics of the ideology are as following:
(1) Ideology is a Coherent Set Of Views
(2) Perspective of Phenomenon
(3) Ideology is Developed by Intellectual Elites
(4) Ideology is Logical
(5) Ideology is Dynamic
(6) Ideology is Manipulated by Politicians
(7) Ideology is Developed Through Social Circumstances
(8) Ideology is Action Oriented
