HIV and Viral Hepatitis in the Workplace: Updates on Prevention and Treatment

This past installment of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine grand rounds, on Tuesday 24-Sep-2024, focused on HIV and Viral Hepatitis in the workplace as described by Rachel Chasan, MD, MPH. Rachel Chasan, MD, MPH, obtained her medical degree and MPH from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and stayed on at Mount Sinai for Internal Medicine residency, including a year as a chief medical resident, and Infectious Diseases fellowship. She has been faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases here since 2012, is an Associate Professor of Medicine, and is currently the director of Antimicrobial Stewardship for Mount Sinai Hospital as well as the Quality Improvement lead for the division. Her clinical practice includes inpatient and outpatient HIV medicine, and general ID consultative care.
