Winter School Workshop - EcoCultural Riparian Restoration Day 2 Lecture : Dr. and Prof. Rana P.B. Singh is the former Professor of Cultural Landscapes & Heritage Studies, & Head of the Dept. in Department of Geography, Institute of Science, at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Member ICOMOS ,President: ACLA Asian Cultural Landscape Association; Vice President: BHAI Big History Association of India; Expert & Voting Member, ICOMOS International Scientific Committee; ‘Places of Religions and Ritual’ Contributing Member. Rana P.B. Singh is researching in the fields of Cultural Landscapes, Sacred Landscapes and pilgrimage studies, heritage sites and settlement systems in Varanasi region since over last four decades, and also did field studies in Japan, Sweden, Italy, and Korea. On these themes, he delivered special lectures and seminars at various institutions in all parts of the world. His publications include 315 papers and 41 books & anthologies on these subjects.
