KPRC-TV news opens

Well, it took just over 5 months, but it's finally done! My first ever compilation of newscast opens comes to us from the NBC affiliate in my hometown, Houston, Texas, and the first television station in the country's now forth-largest city (it's an hefty update to one that T.L. Hughes did seven years ago). Enjoy this nearly 56-minute trek through how KPRC 2's intros have evolved over the years! This video is dedicated to those who have recently retired from the station and/or passed away, including longtime KPRC anchor Bill Balleza (signed off for the last time on January 31, 2020), senior reporter Phil Archer (retired on March 4, 2021), and weatherman Doug Johnson (passed away on January 3, 2019).
