Folk dances from all over Turkey!! 🇹🇷 Turkey is divided into 7 geographical regions (bölge). Each of those regions has vibrant local music scenes which, in turn, support a number of regional musical styles. "Hora" is performed in Thrace (Marmara region), "zeybek" in the Aegean Region mostly and not only, "teke" in the Mediterranean Region, "kaşık oyunları" - "karşılama" in Central Anatolia and not only, "horon" in the Black Sea Region, "halay" in Southeast Anatolia Region and "bar" in the Eastern Anatolia Region. These are some of the things that make Turkey unique and beautiful! Let's explore and compare!
