When I started carp fishing, a 3 acre lake seemed large and daunting. When I first fished in France, a 35 acre felt huge and intimidating. So you can imagine how I felt when I began the journey in tackling 500 acre lakes with no boat, no echo sounder and no drone. I mean how can you possibly be successful on a lake that big without modern tech? Well, six years ago I began that journey and it taught me an awful lot about what really matters in this game, and what doesn't. In this video I share everything that I learned along the way that you can apply on any lake.
