If your antenna is not working as expected, try the following tips:

1. Check to make sure you have correctly connected the antenna to your HDTV ("ant in" - coax cable) or third-party HD receiver.
2. Re-Scan for Channels. In the TV's setup menu, set the mode to Antenna or Air. Refer to the TV manual for detailed instructions.
3.Reposition the antenna in a different location, try to find a better position in your house. Maybe place it higher on a wall or closer to a window  (also you can try put the antenna outside). Facing the direction of the broadcast tower is usually the best. Distance from the broadcast tower, surroundings hills, buildings, and even tall trees can impact reception. Always re-scan for channels after moving the antenna. Usually moving a few feet can make a difference.
4. It is an amplified antenna. If a signal cannot be received with the external amplifier, remove the amplifier and try again. In some instances, the amplifier may cause self-oscillation, which may interfere with the signal.
5. Keep the antenna away from those big power consumption devices interference, such as air conditioner, microwave oven... etc.
