#18 - Candle In The Wind - Elton John - Live in Stockholm 1989

This show was played at the brand new arena The Globe in Stockholm 9th of April 1989. I have to dedicate this show to two. The first one is Adam (formulaonemad) which loves this show as one of the best post-surgery concerts. And I'll give him right, because this show is fantastic with fantastic versions of the songs, not only instrumentally but also vocally. To point out some of the highlights he plays a fantastic version of 'The King Must Die' which is one of my favorite versions next to the versions from 1986 (this does, fortunately, have far better vocals!). He also plays one of the best versions of 'Too Low For Zero' and one of the best soloes on Mona Lisas And Mad Hatter pt. 2. Elton is also still able to hit some falsettoes and he shows that in particular on Saturday Night's. Saturday Night's from this show is also one of my favorites. Candle In The Wind is also phenomenal!
The other one who needs a dedication is the Swedish people. I was making these uploads during the soccer game between Sweden and Denmark and since Denmark ran away with the victory I'll give them some consolation.
Anyways this show is fantastic!
