CM KISAN On Nuakhai // SBI Foundation Launches Asha Scholarship

On the auspicious occasion of Nuakhai, a significant agrarian festival, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to unveil the CM KISAN scheme at a grand event in Sambalpur this Sunday. The official launch will be held at the Gangadhar Meher University auditorium, where farmers who are not beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi will receive financial support of Rs 4,000 in two instalments. The SBI Foundation has introduced the 3rd edition of its flagship Asha Scholarship Program, aiming to provide financial aid to 10,000 bright students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across India. The program offers scholarships to students from Class 6 up to the postgraduate level, with amounts ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,00,000 per year.
