Hey guys! Have you ever wanted to build your very own Tegu or reptile enclosure??
Check this video out and let me know what you think!!!!

We build a bioactive 8foot by 4 foot by 4 foot PVC enclosure. The entire enclosure sits on a wooden frame we build with 6 castor wheels on the bottom so it can be moved around.
The entire enclosure was built out of PVC, we chose PVC because it holds humidity so much better than plywood. We built the basic rectangle enclosure with 4 8 foot PVC boards, one for the bottom, one for the top, one for the back, and the last one cut in half for both the sides. We then put a frame along the outside top and bottom, this will hold the track and the sliding glass doors.
We build a large humid hide, made out of PVC as well. We made a second hide with a tunnel that will go under their substrate and under their water dish. We cut all the holes in the top for all of the lights.
We then drylocked the entire enclosure. 7 coats of drylock. We drylocked the hides we made as well as the tunnel too. We made a ramp to get up to the top of their hide to bask. We then put all the substrate, décor and lights, mister and fogger in, hooked it all up and installed the track and the sliding glass doors.

Definitely let me know what you guys think, if you have any thoughts, opinions, or tips, I would love to hear them!!
