Jaguar's £1.5m Lightweight E-Type

The most expensive Jaguars ever built; the six 'missing' Lightweight E-Types complete the originally intended set of 18. Built to the standards of 1963 using original manufacturer techniques and methods, the new cars have the 3.8l straight-six from the XK with 340bhp and a dry weight of 960kg. Built by Jaguar's Heritage department they came in with a price tag of £1.5 million, one of which is owned by Stratstone UK and can be seen here.

Stratstone use the car to show it at events and put it on display, allowing people to visit and view it. They even have a website dedicated to this specific car: http://www.stratstone.com/jaguar/e-type/
