Congress leader Rahul Gandhi began his two-day visit to violence-hit Manipur on Thursday. Police stopped his convoy from going to Churachandpur, one of the worst-hit areas, fearing that the Congress leader could be at risk, with his convoy being mistaken for a group of "attackers". He has now taken a chopper to Churachandpur.
