The ridge hiking trail from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock near Stoos is an absolutely amazing day trip in Switzerland. The views are simply beautiful and getting the trail start is an experience in itself - you get to ride the world's steepest railway which rises to 110%!
The trail is considered to be a moderate trail, but does require proper hiking shoes and it being a ridge trail, also requires you not to have any fear of heights or dizziness. We did a part of the full loop and it took us about 3 hours to complete (given we often stopped to say hi to local cows =) ) Full trail description is here: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/switz...
