Mufasa: The Lion King 2D trailer (Disney-style animated version) vs. official trailer side-by-side comparison. Take a closer look at traditionally hand-drawn animated Mufasa: The Lion King. I was looking for the best suitable footage to create this animated trailer. I also recreated some of the footage myself to be as similar to the original as possible. This is the 2D trailer for Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King that could have been. Disney CGI characters reimagined in 2D.
