The all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma now shares a platform with the Sequoia and Land Cruiser, featuring a new boxed steel ladder frame and a coil spring multi-link rear suspension. It exclusively uses a 2.4L turbocharged engine across all trims, producing 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, a substantial increase from its predecessor. Additionally, an optional i-Force Max Hybrid powertrain, providing even more power, is available for select trims and standard on the TRD Pro and Trail Hunter models.

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma excels in its segment with updates in technology and comfort, positioning it competitively against recently redesigned rivals like the Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, and GMC Canyon. The base MSRP is set at $33,500, while the Limited trim, the most expensive version seen so far, starts at $52,800 before options and destination fees. Pricing details for top trims like the Trail Hunter and the TRD Pro have not been released yet.
