Louie must have felt a little lonely, since Louie's dad is away. Louie was asking for attention more than usual. And when Louie shows his puppy eyes you can't say no.
Louie likes jumping on his place when excited and sometimes bumps on the corners of it. And to also lessen the strain on his joints when Louie jumps on it. Louie's place was made fluffier, but Louie must find it odd.
