This electric guitar was machined on one of our High-Z S-1400T/-105 CNC routers.

This electric guitar is absolutely unique! The special thing about this DIY wood project is that all individual parts of this musical instrument have been completely manufactured on the CNC milling machine. By means of 2D and 3D processing, the guitar body, the guitar neck, the fingerboard and the pickguard of the electric guitar were made of different and noble tonewoods. But not only wood, but also metal, in the form of brass, was engraved and milled here for the fittings and shields of the guitar in CNC-STEP style. Guitar making of the extra class!
As you can see in the video, Stefan uses professional CNC techniques of two-sided 3D machining to mill the complex shapes of the hardwood guitar quickly and accurately. For the planning and construction, only the extensive CAD CAM software of the company @Vectric Ltd was used. https://www.cnc-step.com/cnc-software...

In diesem unfassbaren Making Of einer voll funktionsfähigen E-Gitarre, nehmen wir Euch mit auf eine Reise in die Welt der modernen Handwerkskunst. Wieder einmal zeigt Stefan Dück, langjähriger Kunde und Inhaber von DS Wood-Design, welche Performance in Ihm und seiner High-Z S-1400T/-105 CNC-Fräse steckt! https://www.cnc-step.com/cnc-router-1...
Diese E-Gitarre ist ein absolutes Unikat! Das Besondere an diesem DIY Holzprojekt ist, dass alle Einzelteile dieses Musikinstrumentes komplett auf der CNC-Fräse gefertigt worden sind. Mittels 2D und 3D-Bearbeitung wurden hier sowohl der Gitarrenkorpus, der Gitarrenhals, das Griffbrett als auch das Schlagbrett der E-Gitarre aus verschiedenen und edlen Tonhölzern hergestellt. Aber nicht nur Holz, sondern auch Metall in Form von Messing wurde hier für Beschläge und Schilder der Gitarre im CNC-STEP Stil graviert und gefräst. Gitarrenbau der Extraklasse!
Wie im Video zu sehen, nutzt Stefan hier professionelle CNC-Techniken der beidseitigen 3D-Bearbeitung, um die komplexen Formen der Gitarre aus Hartholz schnell und wiederholgenau zu fräsen. Für die Planung und Konstruktion, wurde alleinig die umfangreiche CAD CAM Software der Firma @vectric zum Einsatz gebracht. https://www.cnc-step.com/cnc-software...
