Calico Beans

#calicobean #food #recipe #beans If you like baked beans, then you would love calico beans 🫘  I've been craving this for a while. It's like baked beans elevated to a whole other level. Ground beef, bacon, onion, celery, pork n beans, kidney beans, butter beans, and northern beans in a sweet/salty sauce. It's great for a cookout or picnic. It's an amazing side dish for the summer, but it's also delicious on its own. I will be eating this with everything for the next couple of days. You can make this in a crockpot, bake it in the oven, or even cook it all on the stove top. It's not the prettiest dish, but it is so tasty.

Calico Beans:
1 lb ground beef
8 slices of bacon, chopped
1 onion. chopped
1 stalk of celery, diced
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 can of pork n beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can butter beans
1 can northern beans
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon dried mustard

Cook bacon until beginning to crisp.  Add celery and onion to cook for a few minutes. Then add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Once meat is fully cooked, add all the remaining ingredients.
Bake At 350° F for 1 hour, uncovered, stirring occasionally.
