How to treat diarrhea? Diarrhea is a common symptom that many people experience due to a many causes. Diarrhea is typically defined as an increase in the frequency of bowel movements and liquidity. In this video, I talk about management and treatment of diarrhea with over the counter medications. I talk about the importance of oral rehydration and recommend the use of Pedialyte. In addition I talk about the use of Pepto Bismol and Imodium (loperamide) and their use and mechanism of action in treating diarrhea.
