Oakland gas station shooting: new details emerge, including identity of slain suspect

Ersie Joyner, the retired Oakland police captain who was wounded during a gas station robbery, had been involved in several shootings during his career. Surveillance footage shows that he fired at robbery suspects who had reached into his Porche at an Oakland gas station. The suspect who was killed in the shootout was identified by friends as a Vallejo rapper who uses the name Lil Theze.
