Six day hike from earlier
Six day hike from earlier this year. We knew there was a storm coming thanks to the regular weather updates we were getting. The continuous rain lasted about 40 hours, we spent most of this time just resting in the tent. Before reaching campsite 2 we’d already hiked over 30 kilometres so it was a perfect opportunity to rest.
At camp 3 there was an annoying wasp nest next to the tent, being cold weather they werent very active so we didn’t notice them at first. As Christina was poking the tent pegs into the ground she was stung once by a wasp.
The hole in the tent fly has already been properly fixed, we’ll show that in an upcoming video. Despite camping in hundreds of different locations, this is the first time we’ve ever experience a tear/hole in one of our tents.
