How to fix a stuck zipper on backpack

This video shows how to get a bookbag zipper unstuck from the flap of the bag. This technique can be used to fix any zipper that has the fabric stuck or jammed under the slider. The only tool needed is pair of pliers.

When the fabric is stuck under the zipper it wont move back & forth.

Using the pliers grab the fabric in front of the stuck slider, and firmly but gently pull the fabric. Either wiggle and work it or you can do this in several passes. With each pull a little bit of the fabric gets loosed up. Keep repeating until the fabric is completely off.

The video shows repairing a Jansport school bag with stuck zip. The zippers on the bag are covered, which slows water from leaking inside the bag. One annoyance experienced with Jansport right pack is the zipper getting caught or jammed in the zipper awning fabric from time to time.
