Phakding to Namche Bazaar:
Distance: Approximately 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) that took us 7 hours to reach Namche from Phakding
Altitude Gain: Phakding is at around 2,610 meters (8,563 feet) and Namche Bazaar is at approximately 3,440 meters (11,286 feet).
Terrain: The trail involves some ascents and descents, crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. You'll pass through small villages, rhododendron forests, and have occasional glimpses of Mt. Everest on clear days.
Highlights: Monjo, where you enter Sagarmatha National Park, and the Hillary Suspension Bridge are notable landmarks. The final ascent to Namche Bazaar is steep and can be challenging but offers stunning views of the Himalayas.
Namche Bazaar to Everest View Hotel:
Distance: The distance from Namche Bazaar to Everest View Hotel varies depending on the specific route taken, but it's roughly 3-4 kilometers (1.9-2.5 miles). it took us 3 hours return journey
Altitude Gain: Namche Bazaar is at 3,440 meters, and Everest View Hotel is around 3,880 meters (12,729 feet).
