Using the AutoCorrect functionality in
Using the AutoCorrect functionality in Microsoft Word helps you save time when typing by replacing words or short character sequences on the fly with pre-defined words or phrases that you use frequently. Whether you use your company name in your documents a lot, and it's a long name, or you have certain clients you mention all the time, you can create AutoCorrect entries that you can reuse by only typing a few characters.
In this video, I show you how I create an AutoCorrect entry in Microsoft Word, how I use it when typing by creating a 4-character sequence I type, and as soon as I click the space bar or any punctuation sign, it expands that character sequence into the full set of words or phrases I defined.
AutoCorrect also works in Word with formatting, so I also demonstrate how you can create AutoCorrect entries with formatting if you need those that work in addition to the non-formatted ones.
