I've finally bought my BMW E39 520i | EvoMalaysia.com

After many years of dreaming and a good few months of hunting, I've finally landed myself a BMW 5 Series (E39). The car is a 2003 520i, among the final batch production built locally at the AMIM plant in Shah Alam before the E60 rolled in.

For starters, the car was bought from a used car dealer in Bandar Sunway .. a highly pleasant experience. Salesman was honest with the car's condition and responsive to enquiries.

The car transacted at a price of RM24k including road tax and insurance.

I've had to pump in a further RM3k at Wearnes to fix the following
- engine oil change
- cylinder head gasket
- spark plugs (x6)
- ignition coils (x6)
- rear brake pads
- undercarriage covers

Car is also in need of new tyres and, further down the road, refurbishment of the front suspension.
