Michel Thierry Atangana, a French citizen of Cameroonian origin, was detained for 17 years in a 7 m2 cell in the basement of the Cameroonian defense secretariat.
Deprived of consular visits, abandoned by France.
Combining the story of his personal reconstruction and the investigation into the reasons for this endless arbitrary detention, this film poses the question of resilience, and questions the relationships between defense of human rights and respect for national sovereignty, between freedom individual and state reason.
