This is an easy to follow tutorial about wiring up car subwoofers. Whether you have svc single voice coil, or dvc dual voice coil subs, I will show you the ohm loads, how to calculate subwoofer ohms, and also show you how to wire multiple subs in your car.
Series, parallel, and series/parallel wiring will be shown in this helpful video. This applies to speakers, 6x9s, midbass, as well as bass speakers and subwoofers. Make sure your amp can wire as low as the ohms you are wiring too - many monoblocks can support as low as 1ohm, with some allowing 0.5ohm - half an ohm!
This vid is suited for car audio noobs, or anyone who is new to wiring subwoofers and wants to pick up the basics. You can always leave a comment if you need help, or want advice with your setup.
You can wire odd numbers of subs, including how to wire 3 subs or how to wire 5 subs or how to wire 7 subs together. It's all shown in this video! You wont need an ohm calculator with these easy charts I have included.
