2010-2016 Cadillac SRX power liftgate fix (PART 1)

Hi guys,

I decided to make a video for the manual release of the power liftgate for the 2010-2016 Cadillac SRX since there isn't one around. This video is for those who have had an issue with their power liftgate not opening even though fuses and relays appear to be OK. 9 out of 10 times the problem arises from the liftgate control module frying up. This is due to water backing up from the clogged rear sunroof drain hoses, which then seeps into the trunk wheel well area and shorts out the liftgate control module. It's a manufacturer defect that GM and Cadillac are not recalling for God knows what reason. So to avoid an expensive fix at the dealership, here's an easy/simple way to fix it yourself and remedy any aggravation concerning it.
