VMware vCenter 7 Appliance root password reset

I made a mistake during the #vCenter upgrade process by copying the password incorrectly, which resulted in losing access to #VAMI. Despite trying various solutions such as adding spaces before and after the password or trying different passwords, I couldn't regain access. The only option left was to reset the root password.
