The Oppo Reno 12 Pro has launched in the UK and Europe, costing £499 and €599, respectively, and after an extended pause, it's great to see Oppo back in the Western smartphone race. You might be underwhelmed if you look at the Reno12 Pro's specs. Other than the huge 512GB storage and striking T200 liquid metal design, its MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy seems lackluster, and the cameras look like a downgrade compared to past Renos. 48 hours with the phone, though, and it's arguably the most AI-packed smartphone at a price outside the Google Pixel family, and it even gives Google's phones a run for their money.
