Why you should do your FREE Porsche Driving Experience | Porsche Experience Centre Track Day

You can complete a free
You can complete a free Porsche driving experience when you order any new Porsche model. I have visited the UK Porsche experience centre in Silverstone to complete my driving experience after ordering my Porsche 992 911. Checking out the unique kick plate and doing several launch controls.
When you place a deposit and lodge an order on any new Porsche model you will received an email from the Porsche experience centre. The email will be an offer to completed a free driving experience in the Porsche model you have ordered to put it through it's paces on their tracks.
The idea behind this track experience day is to give you the chance to look over the new Porsche model you have ordered and learn how to drive it with a one on one lesson around the centres range of tracks.
My experience to check out my new Porsche 992 Carrera 2 was cancelled due to a lockdown in the UK. So I was unable to complete the experience before the car arrived. You have up to 2 years to complete the free driving experience so I rebooked and took my friend to complete the track day in 2 different high powered Porsche models.
Instead of doing just the Porsche 992 C2 which I owned, we chose to do the 718 GTS 4.0 in manual and the 992 Turbo S Cab. We swapped half way through the afternoon to try both cars and give us both 2 different experiences.
The Porsche experience centre tracks give you the chance to try out 2 different handling circuits, a kick plate to simulate an ice slide, straights to perform launch controls and some low friction areas. The instructor will offer you advice and show you how best to drive the Porsche you are buying to understand it's full capabilities.
There are now many Porsche experience centres and you can find a list here of where all the current centres are located. If you are not buying a Porsche you can always attend other forms of paid Porsche driving experiences.
