Infidels: Redux [1983] - Bob Dylan - “Mark Knopfler mix” - Lost Album Remaster

An alternative presentation of Infidels that aims for how the album would have sounded had Mark Knopfler been able to mix and complete the album with Dylan. A selection of alt. mixes and performances adjusted and remastered for consistency. Based on the supposed original sequence of Infidels before Knopfler left to tour, with a couple additions (“Someone's Got a Hold of My Heart,” “Lord Protect My Child”) and the key transposition of “Sweetheart Like You” with “Blind Willie McTell.” Among various minor touches and adjustments, I combine an earlier mix of “Sweetheart Like You” with Mick Taylor’s solo from the actual album.
