HISTORY OF ANCIENT INDIA | From Hinduism to Islamic Glory - First Episode
If we talk about India, we will find a very old civilization, contemporary with the civilizations of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. This is the civilization where the ancestors of Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis came from. In this civilization, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism also originated before being spread throughout the world. This is India.
However, make no mistake, apart from these three religions, Islam in India was also successful in its time. Relics of the Mughal empire such as the Lahore landscape, Agra fort, Ajmer fort, Allahabad fort and even the Taj Mahal monument which is considered one of the wonders of the world are proof that Islam was once victorious in its time.
But the light of glory had to be extinguished. As the saying goes it is impossible for something to exist because of nothing. Everything has a cause and effect.
It is true, Islam and Hinduism in India have had a very long journey, a journey filled with conflict and even war. This is the long history of India starting from its civilization, the emergence of Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms and the glory of Islam. From here several questions arise, so, who really were the ancestors of the Indians? What is the story of the emergence of Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam in India? This video is the first episode of three or four in a series on Indian history.
