The 1847 Academy for transfer
The 1847 Academy for transfer students at The City College of New York creates bridges for students from a CUNY community college to their desired major at CCNY. This is achieved through aligned programs, opportunities to be part of the CCNY community while still earning an associate’s degree, and a special 1847 Academy cohort experience after enrollment. A pilot of the 1847 Academy in partnership with the Borough of Manhattan Community College is currently in development.
The 1847 Academy honors in its name City College’s founding as a premiere public institution in the advancement of knowledge, creativity, and innovation, and its pride in being one of the most diverse institutions of higher education in the United States. https://www.ccny.cuny.edu/
