Amid escalating tensions between India and Canada, Pro-Khalistan organisation Sikhs for Justice has threatened Hindus living in Canada. In a video, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said that they want to avenge Nijjar, whose death has sparked a diplomatic row between India and Canada. The US-based lawyer, Pannun, has repeatedly used his group, Sikhs for Justice, to push the 'Khalistan' agenda ahead. It is important to highlight that after India, Canada is home to the largest population of Sikhs in the world. It is unfortunate that a country with the reputation of being one of the world’s greatest democracies is now openly advocating secession.
