Indulge in the rich flavors of Chicken Do Pyaza, where marinated chicken is cooked to perfection in a luscious gravy. Aromatic tadka of cumin, green chilies, tomatoes, and onions adds depth, while the creamy blend of spices and yogurt creates a mouthwatering dish. Garnish with fresh coriander for a delightful finish
Chicken Do Pyaza Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 kg chicken with bone, marinated with:
1 tbsp red chili powder
2 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
For the Tadka:

3-4 tbsp oil
1 tbsp cumin
3-4 roughly chopped green chilies
2 quarters of tomatoes
2 quarters of onions
Heat oil, add cumin, and cook for 30 seconds.
Add green chilies, cook for 30 seconds, then add tomatoes and onions. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
For the Gravy:

4-5 tbsp oil
1 tbsp cumin
3 medium-sized onion paste (cook until light brown)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
200 ml tomato puree (cook until oil separates)
Marinated chicken (roast for 3-4 minutes)
200 ml whisked yogurt (stir continuously to prevent splitting)
1 tbsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
In the same pan, add oil and cumin. Cook for 30 seconds.
Add onion paste, cook until light brown, then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 more minutes.
Add tomato puree, cook until oil separates.
Add the marinated chicken, roast for 3-4 minutes.
Pour in the whisked yogurt, stir well, and cover for 3-4 minutes.
Add black pepper powder, adjust salt, and cover for another 10 minutes on low flame.
Finally, add fresh coriander leaves and serve.
