The TVS Ntorq 125 is powered by 124.8cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 9.25 bhp and a torque of 10.5 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, TVS Ntorq 125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Ntorq 125 scooter weighs 118 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.8 liters.

The TVS Ntorq 125 is the firm’s first upmarket offering in the scooter segment. It pulls out all the stops to ensure that a Ntorq customer has the maximum bragging rights of them all. It gets a feature list that outdoes its competitions to a huge extent while offering a peppy motor and sporty handling dynamics.

The Ntorq 125 gets a data-loaded digital console which shows the clock, average speed, top speed recorder, lap timer, and service and helmet reminders, besides the basic info. But what helps it truly stand out is the Bluetooth-connectivity for smartphone pairing. Other features which enhance convenience include a charging socket in the boot, a boot lamp, and an engine kill switch.

The Ntorq is also one of the few scooters which get an engine with a three-valve head. Its BS6-compliant, 124cc, fuel-injected motor generates 9.3bhp and 10.5Nm and has a claimed top speed of around 95kph. In terms of braking hardware, the scooter is available in two variants - drum and disc. The former features a 130mm drum brake at the front while the latter sports a 220mm disc brake. Both systems are equipped with SBS (Synchronised Braking System).

For those who want more from their Ntorq, TVS also has a Race Edition and a SuperSquad iteration of the scooter. The former gets racier decals with additional features such as an LED headlamp and hazard lamp. As for the Super Squad, it has been introduced in three paint schemes, each adorned with graphics inspired by three different characters of Marvel’s Avengers.

That’s not all, TVS also retails the Ntorq 125 in Race XP edition that offers more than just a bold three-tone colour option. At 10bhp and 10.5Nnm, it delivers marginally higher power and torque output than other variants. What’s truly interesting is that it gets two riding modes – Street and Race along with voice-assisted features in its SmartXonnect system.

The TVS Ntorq 125 is available in four matte colours consisting of Matte Yellow, Matte White, Matte Silver, and Matte Red apart from three metallic colour shades including Metallic Blue, Metallic Grey, and Metallic Red.

Competition wise, the NTorq 125 rivals against the Honda Grazia, Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125, and the Aprilia SR 125.

TVS NTorq 125 Features:

The TVS NTorq 125 is a feature-packed scooter. It was the first TVS two-wheeler to get an all-digital console equipped with smartphone connectivity, which TVS calls SmartXonnect.

TVS NTorq 125 Engine:

The TVS NTorq is powered by the same 124.8cc single-cylinder mill that now arrives in a fuel-injected avatar. What is impressive is that despite meeting the BS6 emission norms, the engine hasn’t lost performance, producing the same 9.38PS and 10.5Nm as before. The peak power kicks in a bit earlier at 7000rpm (500rpm lower than the BS4 motor). On the other hand, the TVS NTorq 125 Race XP edition produces 10.2PS and 10.8Nm, which is 0.82PS and 0.3Nm more than the standard variant. Additionally, it also comes with Race riding mode for better acceleration and a claimed top speed of 98kmph.
