My first visit to Idaho's Emerald Creek Garnet Area yielded some amazing garnets! But how many are star garnets? Maybe you've watched videos of others visiting the site. And you've probably seen a perfect star garnet. But what are you supposed to look for in a potential star garnet? I decided to test some ideas.
