Mackie Thump TH12A otherwise known as the Thump12A have to be the best sounding 12" active 2-way PA speaker on the market at this price range. With the Mackie thump 12A, not only do you have the great build quality with the durable ABS style strong but lightweight cabinet, but loaded into it is a 12" Mackie custom bass driver and high temperature compression tweeter to give that awesome Mackie sound capable of large or small venues and ideal for so many applications such as mobile disco, live bands, solo artists, dance classes just to name a few. The Mackie thump Th12A has not one, but two amplifiers built-in to drive the tweeter and bass unit for minumum crosstalk. also, so that you can use the TH12a as a single speaker or as pairs, they have a direct Mic input on the back as well as bass, mid and treble controls and of course, the more important Line level inputs to connect a mixer or any other music device that has a line output.
