Cree has re-designed their entire consumer lineup of LED lighting products. In fact, they’ve generally updated some of their product line every year since they debuted in 2013. Taken separately, they’re not really that much “better”, but together, they could be a reason to upgrade, especially if you’re still on incandescent/halogen or CFL lighting. The particular product in the review is a 60 watt-equivalent, 815 lumen, soft white (2700K) LED bulb from Cree.
