Prawie 100 lat temu zdaliśmy sobie sprawę, że nie jest dobrym pomysłem oddychać azbestem. W bardzo szybkim tempie naukowcy najpierw połączyli ten minerał ze zwłóknieniem płuc, a później z rakiem. Niestety - starania producentów azbestu sprawiły, że od tych odkryć do momentu wprowadzenia regulacji chroniących pracowników i użytkowników minęły długie dekady, w czasie których umierały setki tysięcy osób...
