Main Souteli is a tale of two families having one last name but different fates. Salman Ali Khan was happily living with Khadija and her two daughters Anaya and Momal until he met Nargis. He fall in love with the cunning lady and married her. Nargis also gave birth to two baby girls, Nimra and Sawera. Time passed and Nargis took control of all financials, Khadija and her two daughters were even deprived of basic facilities of life.
Nothing changed even after the demise of Salman Ali Khan. Khadija was left with a small house where she is hardly surviving with her daughters and looking for appropriate groom for Anaya whereas Momal is attending college. Things were usual unless their cousin Ali reached Pakistan and was advised stay with them till he got his home here in Pakistan. Ali got inspired by the jolly nature of Momal and they became close in no time whereas he also appreciated maturity of Anaya. When Ali’s mother arrived and asked Ali to marry either of the girls, he chose Anaya as his life partner, leaving Momal in shock and rage.
On other hand, Nargis got her elder daughter Sawera married with a rich but two times divorced man, who is brutally violent with her for she is unable to conceive. Also she is not allowing her younger daughter Nimra to marry the guy he likes just because of difference in their financial status. Later on Nimra will have no choice but to marry Amir in isolation. This unannounced marriage turned out to be a disaster when Amir got Nimra pregnant and left country. Nimra will found out that his brother-in-law Sajid is impotent and to save her sister’s life and hide her secret, she will make deal with Sajid and marry him. But things will not remain same, when Amir will comeback in her life.
