A mountain village in Sufi Chechnya...

This Chechen village hosts the tomb of a holy woman: the mother of Kunta Haji, the man who brought the Qadirya Sufi brotherhood in pagan Chechnya, in the XIXth century. As the imam says in the fascinating local dialect, Kunta Haji will come at the end of the world, together with Jesus, like a new Mahdi. Scenes of daily life, children, cows, snow, autarchy...
