After graduating from the University,
After graduating from the University, Mike Yam took the route of broadcasting as his career path.
He has been as a sportscaster and studio host for NFL Network and SiriusXM radio.
Mike also worked at ESPN, NBA TV and Pac-12 Network.
As a kid he always thought he was the only person on the planet who was Chinese and Italian because, Mike grew up with a Chinese immigrant father from Hong Kong and an Italian mother.
When it came to deciding on food, Mike finds himself torn between his Chinese and Italian heritage so he went on to writing a children’s book titled ‘Fried Rice & Marinara’
He is a passionate advocate for social issues and has authored op-eds on immigration and the Asian American community.
